Profile of the Director Jajoon KOO directed his first short film LATE(2002). While studied master’s course in film producing, he directed and shot ANYWHERE BUT HERE(2002), which was screened in Mise-en-scène Short Film Festival. He entered the commercial film industry by participating in THE HOUSEMAID (directed by Sang-soo IM, 2010) and CADAVER (directed by Taewoong Son, 2007)), etc. From the assistant director of CYRANO AGENCY (2010, tvN) to A COMPANY MAN (directed by Sanyoon IM, 2012) as an a scriptwriter, he is currently working on diverse films.

Profile of the Producer (s) Kay Heeyoung KIM had been for 3 years the executive officer in marketing & strategy in a Korean VFX Studio, Macrograph, where she contributed for JOURNEY TO THE WEST(directed by Stephen Chow, 2013) etc. as a VFX producer. In 2013, KIM established K-Dragon Corporation and produced a short film JOURNALIST BOY TONG 3D in 2014 and made the co-production deal of CROSS BORDER with Hengdian Entertainment in 2016. In 2017, it made a copyright assignment agreement regarding SWEET PAPARAZZI and the project is currently produced by Dadi cinema in China. K-Dragon has been focusing on films to be expanded across multiple platforms via transmedia storytelling in co-production with China and the US.
Logline A college student Jaeyoung, who just got rejected by his crush Mina, gets to work at a magical café named “Café Midnight” by coincidence that exists beyond time and space. There he encounters with young ‘Mina’ from the past and ‘Nayeon’ who claims to be Jaeyoung’s ex from the future.
Synopsis Jaeyoung, a college student who is working part-time in a convenience store sees Mina, his crush, in sorrow after her breakup. As Jaeyoung cheers Mina up, he confesses his feelings he secretly had towards her, but Mina rejects. To make things worse, Jaeyoung gets fired from his job.

After losing his job and love, Jaeyoung wanders around the streets and he runs into a job opening flyer of “Café Midnight”. This café opens only from midnight till sunrise and it’s not found on the map or GPS navigation. Who would come to this café when no one can find where it is?

Mysterious barista Jihoon in a unique fashion is the owner of the café with no fixed menu. The menu and the mood of the café change constantly as Jihoon’s mood changes. The café is very mystical but something is fishy. As Jaeyoung is about to leave quietly after looking around the café with suspicious eyes, a girl who seems familiar steps into the café. It’s Mina! Caught up in the fact that Mina is a regular, Jaeyoung decides to work at the café.

Jaeyoung approaches to Mina and apologizes without any explanation. But as Jaeyoung looks at her closely, She’s not the Mina who rejected him a few hours ago. She was 20-year-old Mina who seems to be depressed, dispirited. Right before Jaeyoung figures out what is going on, a girl named Nayeon, who claims to be his ex from the future shows up. What is happening here?
