Overview

LINK OF CINE-ASIA led by Busan Film Commission, is a global event which brings Asian Film Commissions and industry leaders together to strengthen the connections among them by sharing information and discovering potential projects. With the Asian Film Commissions Network (AFCNet) being a focal point, you can find locations, incentives and support policies from various Asian countries, including Korea. LINK OF CINE-ASIA presents unique and diverse projects from commercial genre films to artistic projects that cover deep history, culture, and politics of Asia. Moreover, it serves as a platform to create an environment that can actively explore and produce potential projects in Asia. Furthermore, by providing in-depth discussions on the latest film and video issues through our seminar, LINK OF CINE-ASIA leads the film and video culture.
LINK OF CINE-ASIA has been achieving remarkable growth annually. This year we are moving our venue to Asian Film Market to network with more film industry guests who visit the Busan International Film Festival. AFCNet, Asia’s largest film-related organization with 49 members from 18 countries is setting up a pavilion ‘AFCNet Square’ to provide film-friendly policies of each country and cities to link Projects that are interested in filming overseas with Film Commissions. Carefully selected projects will be presented at Project Pitching sessions. Business meetings are arranged between the chosen projects and industry professionals, who are interested in co-production and investment at ‘LINK OF CINE-ASIA Project Market’ throughout the event. LINK OF CINE-ASIA will keep leading the industry with discussions at seminars featuring the latest filming trends and issues. ‘2019 LINK OF CINE-ASIA’ at ‘Asian Film Market ’ will be a wonderful opportunity to find the future of Asian cinema.
