Profile of the Producer (s) Carlo Camilo Valenzona is a producer from the Philippines. He works closely with the acclaimed director Brillante Mendoza under Center Stage Productions. He produced Mendoza’s Alpha: The Right to Kill (Grand Jury Prize in San Sebastian 2018) and Netflix series Amo(2018).

Angelina Bok is a producer and writer from Singapore. She has produced several shorts which travelled to various festivals. She is developing her debut feature as well as a genre film selected for this year’s BIFAN IT Project Market.
Logline Against a Southeast Asian backdrop, four distinct stories focus on young, struggling women journeying through a cycle of circumstances at a time when their voices are muffled by society. Our female protagonists reflect on how they respond to the unjust around them, yet find empathy amidst it all.
Synopsis In indonesia, a 25-year-old Christian woman, REA spends a day with her lover JO (27), running pre-wedding errands together. Rea complains about how unfair it is for her to be preparing everything, but Jo quells her frustrations and fears. After what seems like their last day spent together, tensions arise when Rea is married to another man.

In Malaysia, SITI(28) and MAZLI(35) have been married for three years but are childless. When a colleague mentions of a baby-selling syndicate, a disillusioned Siti contacts the dealer. After going through with the shady deal, the couple’s life follows a downward spiral as they struggle with the arrival of the baby.

Along the roads of Manila, Philippines,a tricycle DRIVER saves and raises young SOO-A when her birth parents abandon her. Although embraced by the stepfamily as a dear family member, now 18-year-old Soo-a grows up in the red light district community having his stepfather pimp her, which forces her doting step-brother to find a way to save her away from the business.

In bustling Singapore, best friends OSMANTHUS(19) and JAMES(19) are both freshmen, working hard in a play they are casted in. Revolving around a peeping tom incident, James plays the voyeur, and Osmanthus plays the voyeur's friend. As they are instructed to improvise, the line between reality and fiction blurs when Osmanthus finds a circulated illicit video in James’ chat messages. Their friendship is strained when they are asked to switch roles during an acting exercise, leaving both friends questioning their morals.
